GovBenefits.gov

The federal government maintains a web site designed to simplify access to information about government programs called GovBenefits.gov.  Users enter the site and check boxes indicating, for example, that they are unemployed or the victim of a disaster. A series of yes-or-no questions about the person's situation follows, and then the site produces a list of government programs and benefits for which the user may be eligible, with links and other contact information for each program.
